Zone 3 Canberra
When you need an indoor activity that keeps older children and teenagers thoroughly engaged, stepping into a high-energy, digital arena is a fantastic option. Zone 3 Canberra has been operating at 28 Weedon Close in Belconnen since 1996. This family-owned facility provides a safe, fully supervised labyrinth environment designed to offer families and groups an immersive, action-packed experience.
The venue operates under regular weekly hours, opening from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturdays, and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sundays. During school holidays, weekday opening hours are extended, starting earlier at 12:00 pm. To ensure player safety, specific dress regulations apply: all participants must wear enclosed footwear with low heels and skid-resistant soles, such as trainers, alongside shirts that cover the shoulders. For safety reasons, loose clothing like hoodies, singlets, and open-toed shoes are not permitted in the arena.
Laser Tag Canberra
At its core, laser tag is a physically demanding, non-contact sport played in a dark, atmospheric arena. It is excellent for helping children over the age of six develop useful skills like hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and teamwork. Each standard game block consists of a 15-minute playing session, prefaced by a comprehensive 10 to 15-minute safety briefing and equipment instruction session that all players must attend.
General public pricing is structured across different days and times. Monday to Thursday before 5:30 pm, prices are $16 AUD for one game, $21 AUD for two games, and $26 AUD for three games. On weekends and after 5:30 pm on weekdays, rates are $18 AUD for one game, $23 AUD for two games, and $28 AUD for three games. For enthusiastic younger players, the venue runs a “Monday Madness” after-school session from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm during school terms. For $15 AUD per player, children aged 6 to 18 receive unlimited laser tag and arcade games, though adults must remain on-site if the participants are under 11 years old.
Birthday Parties Canberra
If you want to host a hassle-free children’s celebration without the mess at home, the venue offers dedicated birthday packages for groups of 2 to 12 children aged 6 to 17. Weekday packages (Monday to Thursday) cost $235 AUD, while weekend packages (Friday to Sunday) are $275 AUD, with additional players costing $20 or $21 AUD each up to a maximum of 24 children.
These party packages include two full games of laser tag with exclusive use of the game arena and a dedicated private party room for the entire duration of the booking. The venue supplies invitations, napkins, cups, water jugs, and cake plates. Parents can choose to self-cater using the on-site fridge and freezer to store ice cream cakes, or add the Pizza and Drinks option for an extra $6 AUD per person on weekends. This add-on provides a shared large pizza and a bottle of soft drink between every three children, served during the scheduled 20-minute break between games. All party bookings require a non-refundable deposit, and any booking transfers require at least seven days’ advance notice.
