Anglesea Golf Club is set in the beautiful hinterland of the Great Ocean Road where 300 Eastern Grey Kangaroos live. Hosting guided Kangaroo Tours since 2015, they now attract visitors from all over the world. 14 seat electric vehicles are driven by volunteer drivers throughout the picturesque golf course. They’ll share interesting facts about kangaroos and stop at favourite spots for photos. You’ll be “up close and personal” with these amazing Australian marsupials and you might even see a baby “Joey” kangaroo, peeking from mum’s pouch. Come for a meal or coffee stop, before or after your visit. Tours can be booked via the website and please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Kangaroo tours take 25 minutes and run daily between 10am - 4pm (starting back Saturday 17 December 2022).
Anglesea Golf Club welcomes all visitors. Golfers, holidaymakers and international guests are all welcome at the Clubhouse Bistro and Bar which is open from 11am daily serving coffee, snacks, lunch and dinner. With a magnificent view down the 18th Fairway, guests can enjoy a meal or drink from the restaurant or on the newly built outdoor deck. Pre-bookings for dinner are recommended at the popular 19th Hole Bistro. You can book on-line for a meal or call 5263 1582.
The 18-hole mini-golf course is popular for birthday parties, special groups or visitors who’d like to take a break from travelling or after a Kangaroo Tour. You can book in at the Pro-Shop.
