The South Coast of New South Wales have some of the most spectacular beaches that you will ever have seen. Do you want a calm bay or one with waves? Is it for swimming or snorkelling or surfing? Seven Mile Beach stretches from Shoalhaven Heads and Comerong Island in the South, to Gerroa in the North. This stunning beach is known for having magnificent sunrises, dolphin sightings and good surf. On any given day you are likely to see surfers and paddle boarders dotted along the beach enjoying the waves. Take a kite or simply swim and sunbake. A perfect beach for anyone in the family to enjoy for the day. Hymans Beach in Jervis Bay is a must stop. Known for the pristine white sand, it is a perfect destination for a day trip or a weekend. The crystal clear waters and the picturesque backdrop of the national park makes it the ideal spot. There are walks along the beach, native wildlife and the most perfect swimming beach you will find. In the Eurobodalla region you will come across some unspoilt beaches that would make you think you are on a tropical island. Tuross Beach is one of those. Located halfway between Moruya and Narooma, the beach is in between two tidal lakes, making it perfect for a range of activities. It has a great cycle track located beside the water, if it’s a bit cool to go swimming! In Narooma, the surf beach is one not to be missed. As the name suggests, this beach is perfect for surfing, boogy boarding or body surfing. The waves are awesome! It also has a little river area, which is perfect for the little ones to paddle in if the surf is too rough. It has a picturesque view looking out to Montague Island. Further down the South Coast you will find the fantastic town of Bermagui which has some glorious beaches, like Horseshoe Bay. Great for swimming, surfing and fishing! The little gem at Bermagui is the stunning Blue Pool. A pool structure that is filled by the ocean. The waves spill over and fill up the pools. You can go for a swim in ocean water in a pool – cool!
