Save the date for Whiteman Park’s
EnviroFEST 2023, returning on Saturday 25 March to coincide with Earth Hour! EnviroFEST is a great family-friendly day out, where you can learn about local wildlife conservation programs, browse stalls full of environmentally-friendly goodies and discover ways to become more sustainable at home.
The workshops program is definitely worth looking out for, with topics such as rediscovering the ancient art of thrift, sustainable fashion and preserving tomatoes at home just a few of the ways you’ll be able to help the planet and your wallet as cost of living pressures bite!
Better yet, the kids have a full program of their own in the Kids Eco Zone! They can enjoy meeting our native wildlife up close, exploring the Children’s Forest with the fairies, getting their hands dirty making seedbombs (for a cause too!) and so much more.
This event is not to be missed if you’re looking for ways to stretch your dollar further and help combat environmental issues at the same time, or even just for a fun day out with the added benefit of connecting you to the local environment.

In the meantime, there is plenty to see and do at Whiteman Park! Take a splash in the mini pool playground, spend a morning exploring the Children’s Forest, escape the heat in one of the museums or play amongst nature at Pia’s Place all-abilities nature playspace.
