Sunday, October 19th at Brumbys Creek, Cressy, the 2025 Tasmanian Trout Expo once again will bring together anglers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts for a lively day of fishing and enjoying the Brumby’s Creek area. Mirroring last year’s format, the event features:

A tagged trout fishing competition

Free sausage sizzle from 10:30 AM to 1 PM while stocks last

•

Kids’ giveaways and free entry for all attendees

•

Licence-free fishing day, welcoming newcomers and seasoned fishers alike

Welcoming back ‘Taste of Trout’. Beautiful free tastings of prepared smoked Tasmanian trout.

The atmosphere will be festive and inclusive, with locals and visitors enjoying the spring weather, catching a trout, sharing tips, and celebrating Tasmania’s freshwater fishing.

A family friendly event where you can bring your own picnic and enjoy a fantastic day on the Brumby’s.
