This summer, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne is set to delight families with two exciting, back-to-back activities designed to inspire creativity, spark imagination and celebrate the joy of play. The fun begins in December with Holiday Bricktacular, followed immediately by the launch of LEGO® Summer of Play, the perfect school holiday adventure for young builders.

Kicking off the festivities is Holiday Bricktacular (1-24 December), a heartwarming festive event that brings families together to build for a global cause. Central to the experience is the Build to Give initiative: for every LEGO® heart built in the attraction and shared on Instagram using the hashtag #BuildtoGive, LEGO® will donate a LEGO® set to a child in need. This annual tradition spreads joy to children worldwide and encourages visitors to embrace the spirit of giving.

Guests can immerse themselves in colourful holiday builds, festive decorations and cheerful family activities as LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne transforms into a brick-filled wonderland.

From 26 December – 26 January 2026, LEGO® Summer of Play, an immersive, activity-packed program created to help kids discover and embrace their own unique way of playing will take over LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne. Whether children love to create, explore, build, dance or simply play freely, the Summer of Play offers five themed activities designed to spark imagination and bring summer fun to life:

• DISCOVER: Explore Miniland to spot hidden summer surprises.
• CREATE: Join a hands-on workshop with a Master Model Builder and design a summer-themed LEGO® build.
• DANCE: Get moving with upbeat LEGO®-inspired dance fun, including dancing with a LEGO® costume character
• BUILD: Construct your own LEGO® bee and display it proudly on the vibrant LEGO® flower cart.
• PLAY: Enjoy endless opportunities for imaginative play, including hopping aboard a chariot on the Kingdom Quest ride or learn how to fly on Merlin’s Apprentice ride.
