On Christmas Eve at the Mindil Beach Christmas Markets, siblings Eli (8) and Grace (11) are suddenly separated from their parents when a tropical storm hits.

As they try to find their way back, they notice a bright star in the sky and decide to follow it. Along their journey, they meet various groups (symbolised by each class) who represent joy, kindness, celebration, and hope – themes connected to the meaning of Christmas, the Nativity and the Pilgrims of Hope.

The journey ends with a joyful reunion and a celebration of God’s guidance and the magic of Christmas.
