Steam Up is a weekend celebrating all things Steam Powered! With free miniature steam train rides, live steam engines, vintage machinery, agricultural displays, working blacksmith, country catering, there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy. An exciting feature of this year’s event is the celebration of 100 years of the Farmall Tractor production.
Steam Up isn’t just about tractors and steam engines. Special guests this year the Northern Tasmanian Light Horse Troop – Living History Group, will have an interactive and education display highlighting the Women’s Land Army during WW2. Visit their display to learn how the women of WW2 fought the war on the home front and speak with members wearing authentic WLA uniform.
