82 acres sanctuary for our Native Tasmanian Wildlife, one of Tasmania's premium attractions Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary located at Mole Creek, Tasmania is recognised as a world leader in Wildlife conservation. The Sanctuary is within easy reach of both the world-famous Cradle Mountain and Mole Creek caves and is an essential inclusion as part of a fantastic day trip. Trowunna is approximately 12 minutes west of Deloraine, 40 minutes south of Devonport, 45 minutes west of Launceston and 75 minutes east of Cradle Mountain. There are three free daily tours as part of your admission price. On tour, you can touch a devil, meet a wombat and view a Tasmanian devil social feeding. Come and see the wombats roaming free at Trowunna hand feed the 'friendliest kangaroos'.

Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary is open daily from 9am to 5 pm. Daily interactive tours are conducted at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
