Winter’s over. Whoopdeedoo. That means that your kids can finally put down their pads and pods, step outside and run headfirst into springtime. Right? Wrong.
Chances are they’ll still be bolted on to their devices. Still completely unaware that a whole world exists outside of the digital realm. But of course, there is a world out there. One that’s IRL instead of a URL, with more twists and turns than their favourite shows combined.
It’s called Luna Park, and these school holidays it’ll replace the screentime with screamtime. Come just for a break, just for a moment, and just for fun.
Dr Hubble’s Brilliant Bubbles is a show that’s perfect to take your littlest kids to – but older kids and adults will have a ball as well. He explains how he makes his bubbles, encourages kids to make their own, and demonstrates that just about anything can be a bubble maker. There are smokey bubbles, square bubbles, volcano bubbles and even an a-bomb-in-a-bubble. One lucky kid will go inside a bubble, and a few other lucky kids will get to help protect some big, wobbly bubbles. Shows will run 3 times daily at Luna Park each weekday (Mon-Fri) of the Spring School Holidays. 12.30pm-1.00pm 1.30pm – 2.00pm 2.30pm – 3.00pm.
